why? November 28, 2009 z1ny (new york, ny) three hundred dollars for what amounts to a glorified child's tricycle? It's a single speed, so don't expect to go very fast. (think of a unicycle, same arrangement.)
If you're going to spend this much, look into a recumbent, same seating position.
I like how "steve" has squeezed in four of his biased reviews, looks like he works for the company with his plugs that read like a 'paid actor.'
Triton 3-Wheeled Adult Tricycle August 14, 2009 Patricia L. Marchbanks (Gulfport, MS) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love it! I have a spinal disability and the Triton helps me get exercise I can't normally get (walking, running, gym workouts, etc). I'm also over 50 and when I got on the Triton it made me feel like a kid again. I actually found myself laughing at myself while I was riding. The neighbors had a blast checking it out, too!
No fun June 9, 2009 Miranda Bourne 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had read quite a few good reviews about these bikes and was excited to get one. But I found it very disappointing. I read how easy and fun and comfortable it was on 3 or 4 differesnt sites. Not so, it really want all the comfortable and I didn't find it fun for the most part. The steering was kind fun. But over all I wouldn't recomend this type of bike. It's also extreemly slow so don't expect to be able to ride with others who are using a normal bicycle.
Great workout! May 21, 2009 christina beaudrie 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Even though it doesnt go very fast I was sweating after 2 miles of riding.
This product does not do well on hills, so stick to flat surfaces.
I love mine and I recommend it to anyone BUT only if you are shorter, I am 5 ft 1 & it is on the very last notch so if you are very tall then you might want to buy the Trition Pro.
Feel like a kid again! December 29, 2008 Myra L. Totten 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love my Triton.
Im no kid but, I feel like one when I am riding my Triton.
The bike is very nice. Easy to handle and safe as long as you know
where the brake is!
I would definitely reccomend the bike to older adults, however not
necessarily for young children.
The Triton is actually nicer than I expected and I look forward to
riding it frequently, especially as the weather improves in the spring.
